Gratitude

I have so much to be grateful for and I am careless if I take it for granted.  I am grateful for good friends,  literature and my family.

Ok, this week has been so bizarre! I got braces and zits!! I feeling like a teen ager again. Oh well, I guess that just goes with the territory....here is to fixing my oh so huge gap!! (lol) the gap that the dentist just laughs about.

I can't believe three years ago today I gave birth to you. I can't imagine life without you. You are vibrant and loving and you mean the world to me. What would a day be if you didn't say "mom, can we chase the peacock?" or make yourself a signature peanut butter and jelly sandwich using 5 pieces of bread. You are amazing and I love you!! Happy Birthday!

My review of The Stephanie Meyer novella

Ok, here is my review of the new novella by Stephanie Meyer. It is called "The Short Second Life of Second Bree Tanner".

I didn't really remember this character from the series, but once I started reading...it all came flooding back to me. I have to say, I really enjoyed this book. I wish they hadn't killed Bree in the Twilight series. PS- I did not just ruin this book for you, obviously by the title you know she dies. It gives you a different prospective of the New Vampires that Victoria made. It is a short read...took me less than two hours. It is 175 pages. Would recommend, even if you just need something to take you out of your reality for a moment. So, that is what I have to say about that.

So I think I am going to blog again

To anyone who follows my blog. I am sorry. I am have been horrible. To those that are laughing...thank you. To me. I think I am going to blog when I feel like it. Don't expect anything great...but I just feel like it may be time to blog again. To my friends, that I talk to regularly and to those I don't. White Ribbon for National Adoption Month

Someone important to me placed her baby for adoption!



November is National Adoption Month and November 15, 2008 is National Adoption Day. The white ribbon is symbolic for adoption.

Please spread the word, pass on the ribbon, even wear one this month if you want to - I will be! ... and when some asks 'why a white ribbon?', you can tell them: someone important to me ____________ (fill in the blank as it pertains to you) placed a baby for adoption OR adopted a child(ren) OR is adopted.

Spread the love and joy that is adoption!!

sarah is sick, so is noah.

sarah is very excited about the ionic cleanse foot bath she just bought! She has even been dreaming of sludge! (click for pics) YAY for detox!!

Noah is going to be a rooster for halloween, maybe if sarah gets bugged enough she will actually post some pics for us to see!
